@sargebill Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Sir! And thanks for sharing pics of your treasures, I’ve enjoyed looking through them. You have quite the collection!

@dixiebella64 Good morning, you're very welcome indeed my friend, it was just a career choice, I did nothing special, no "he man Rambo " stuff. my war room is huge now, the small things bring the most attention, thank you for your kind note made my day

@sargebill @sargebill I have a great love & appreciation for our military. My father fought in WWII & my son was an Army Medic. My Dad wouldn’t talk much about his service, I do know that he was on glider planes & spent some of his time in Belgium. I come from a tiny community in Bama & there’s a plaque in our church with the names of all of the men who served in WWII & it always amazes me how many from that little spot went away to war & all came back home except for one of my cousins.

@dixiebella64 I'd bet my M1 rifle your dad was in the 327th glider inf.regt of the 101st. ABN.Div. and caught up in the bulge around Bastogne. Those men caught the main blows of SS armor ( heavy tanks, Tigers) and Fallschirmjager ( paratroopers). Dad was Army combat engineers, Korean War, he kept quiet too except for Old Baldy and pork chop hill

@dixiebella64 my fiance Samantha was an Army R.N, 1st.Lt, I had pneumonia and was admitted, she was my duty nurse and I pitched a fit not wanting an i.v.,I hate needles, she got hold of me " Sgt.look at my collar, what does this silver bar mean ?" Sam was 47th combat support hospital, we both caught the 1st gulf War. She's very quiet too, looks just like my grandmother who was a WAC in WW2 both tall and beautiful pure Italian
