The White House Historical Assoc. 2003 Christmas Ornament Box & Papers President

This lovely official White House collectors ornament from 2003 is not only stunning, but whimsical, too. The 2003 Official White House Historical Association Ornament honors the life and administration of Ulysses S. Grant, 18th President. It is inspired by a Victorian illustration of a child's joy at Christmas and features a hand painted porcelain figure of a boy on a rocking horse. Gold finished wreath with enameled colors and steam locomotive below. The young boy on the horse is made where he can actually rock. The movement happens manually with a touch of the finger at the bottom of the ornament. Ornament is made in America and individually gift boxed. All original paperwork is included.
