Hi all, are these in a MTO program?
Jan 08Reply

@mitchelltf hi Mitchell, no they are not in an MTO program. They are some of the last pairs I have of a sample production we made last year. What you see in the pics is the color and style of what I have available. They are really great high quality boots, goodyear welted, leather sole, cork filling, leather midsole, leather lined, leather heal block, just really great high quality dress boots.

Are you still on Poshmark. These are from a pilot production. I'll buy a pair but not at this price. A pilot production is an initial production. Until quality is assured, you should get the shoe on the market with better discounts.

Are you still active?????

@lowellhammer hi sorry for the delayed response, I am active but not as much as I would like as I’m out of the country. I just discounted the boots privately, if you would like a pair at that price feel to purchase. They are fantastic quality despite being a pilot production. Thank you for your interest.

Thanks for the offer. The one concern I have is that they are listed as an "E" with. I wear a "D" width. Are these made very wide? Why the "E" width?
Jun 23Reply

lowellhammer
I wear a 10 "D" in most boots. Don't think it will be a problem. Just don't want them to be too loose.

l_tap09
@lowellhammer hi, they are made E width because in doing the research for boots and shoes one of the most common concerns was how snug other brands where making them. This is made all the worse with Goodyear welted boots and shoes that have a break on period, do to the material use and construction method. It’s hard to say exactly how they’ll fit you, but my D width customers have not had any issues.

I'm interested. I would like to try these out. Sorry I missed deadline on offer. I'm in the boot/shoe business. These, I will keep. Goodyear welted soles are nice.

Sent a counter offer close to what you asked. Missed the original offer period and now postage will be almost $8.

Received an this is an amazing boot! There are some out there like Carlos Santos. However, I like these better. With the right formula, you could turn this into good production. Thanks for doing business with me.

@lowellhammer Hey Lowell, thanks for the kind words. Before ceasing production we had a list of improvements (namely leather quality and finishing) but the biggest issue was production. We could not find a manufacturing partner, in Mexico, that could produce a boot with the quality we demanded. I had to personally finish our first run of boots. Mexico has the talent, but no factory that will put quality ahead of quantity. We thought about starting one ourselves. Still might. Enjoy your boots!

Hi! I had messaged you about getting a pair of these a few weeks ago and you had said you could arrange it in November, but I've tried to submit the same offer twice without a response. Is there a date I should try submitting again?
Nov 10Reply

l_tap09
@emeerbach hey I’m so sorry for the delayed response, we just had a baby and still settling in. If you resubmit your offer, i can accept and I have someone back in town and can get them shipped out to you this week. Again my apologies for the delay in responding.

@l_tap09 oh my, congrats! No worries at all - please do sit back and celebrate. I just wanted to check in on whether I should resubmit, so I'll go ahead and do that!

@lowellhammer I have these - they’re comparable to $450+ boots. They’re insanely well priced for what they are, and I got them for ~$270

Hi, I’m curious if you have a size chart compared to actual foot length? I’m sometimes a size 12 in women’s. What is your return policy if I get the wrong size?
Sep 02Reply

l_tap09
@sweetmomoko hi, no unfortunately we do not have a size chart that’s compared to actual foot size. Our boots are true to size, and come in an E width, slightly wider than your typical D. They are also men’s boots, so it’s something to consider.

These are gorgeous, is there any possibility of having them made in a smaller women's size?
Sep 21Reply

l_tap09
@a_nordquist what size where you looking for? We may have a sample pair that we made still available.
Sep 21Reply

a_nordquist
@l_tap09 it would be for a 6.5 in women's:)
Sep 23Reply

a_nordquist
6.5-7

Is that size too small?

l_tap09
@a_nordquist hi sorry for the delay, yea it’s going to be to small, we don’t have anything in that size.

My husband bought size 11 and they didn’t fit him. I’m now selling it for him. They’re incredibly high quality boots. Please view my listing!
