@margotburchard, no, these are more like waterproof nylon pants. It is thinner material without a heavy lining. Probably more appropriate for hiking or camping. I suppose you can ski in them (I’m not a skier) but wouldn’t imagine it is the intended use. Hope that helps

@lcalz173 the nylon makes it water resistant, but it has not been treated to be fully waterproof.
