robartelia74 How are you going to say $65 when you’re selling it for 45 you say it was listed at 65 but it’s listed at $49 and you’re trying to sell it to me for $45 plus shipping that’s the same price that’s not a deal at all

selling_nash @robartelia74 Hello! 😀 I’m not sure exactly what you’re referring to but I might have an idea. I originally priced this item at $65 when I first posted it. As sellers, we are allowed to drop (and raise) the price as frequently as we’d like. The current price is set at $49 and I have just sent out offers of 10% off ($44) with $5.95 shipping instead of the full price which would be $49 plus $7.97 shipping.

selling_nash @robartelia74 As a seller, if I drop the shipping rate it helps the buyer pay less but it does take money out of my profit. Unfortunately I don’t control the shipping rates, Poshmark sets those. Poshmark also takes a 20% commission off of the sale price.

selling_nash @robartelia74 For instance, if this item sells for $44 with $5.95 shipping, I am only making $33.18 ($44 x 20% commission which is $8.80 = $35.20 then minus the discounted shipping for the buyer so $7.97 - $5.95 = $2.02. $35.20 for the item minus the $2.02 decrease in shipping leaves me with $33.18).

selling_nash @robartelia74 Hope this breakdown helps you to understand the process a little better. The original price of $65 with the current 10% off price is a discount of $21 and then lowered shipping rate on top of that. :)
