The Mika Purse Co. Black/White/Silver Vintage Mid Century Box Purse

The Mika Purse Co. Black/White/Silver Vintage Mid Century Box Purse. Great vintage bag made by The Mika Purse Co. Port Arthur, TX. There is no label on the inside but I’m not sure there ever was with the faux fur lining. This bag was found at an estate of a couple that lived in Port Arthur during the husband’s career with the Texaco Port Arthur Refinery. After researching other sold bags with labels, I feel that the hardware and design is right for other Mika bags. Measures approximately 8” x 4 1/2” x 5 1/2”. Handle drop is 5”. One chip where the lucite handle screw is attached. It is not loose at all and a dab of superglue would certainly hold it in place for years to come. A few slight scratches on the handle.
