Both written and illustrated by Lucia Patton, who wrote and illustrated many books in the 1940's. I could not find this book online. Former library book with original card included. This is a read-it-yourself book with repetition of words for a new reader. Published by Albert Whitman & Co in Chicago. Illustrated with colored and black and white pictures. Flaws: wear to binding but intact, red cover has bled on some pages and has some water damage on back, some small tears on the bottom of some pages, yellowing and smudging on pages as expected with age. No smoke smell or odors - it smells like a library. Get this rare book before it is gone!
