Each door opens and closes with a tiny knob handle. CORD NOT INCLUDED. I only used AA batteries so I have no idea what happened to cord. Easily replaced. The switch on the back allows three options. OFF, ON WITH MUSIC and ON WITHOUT MUSIC. The figures rock and move as the lights change and the music play when you have it on. It sparkles. Great condition.
