✝️The Giving Manger Box Set

*NWT* Never Used! "This box set includes everything you'll need to bring the spirit of service into your home." On thegivingmanger.com, you can print out a list of potential acts of service (or you could use your own, of course) for you and your family to begin before Christmas day. After someone has completed an act of service, they are to place a piece of straw into the manger, filling it until, on Christmas day, the baby Jesus is then placed on top. This interactive set comes with the following; 1. a book to explain the tradition that should get the kids excited to begin, 2. a bundle of straw (placing a piece of straw in the manger with each act of service completed), 3. a wooden manger (where you place the straw, and eventually the baby), measures about 5.5" x 3.5", and 4. the baby Jesus, a ceramic figure that measures about 3.5" and has a bit of weight to it. This is definitely a quality set. We can see this being used at any time of the year, as teaching your children about the spirit of giving to others doesn't have to be limited to a season. Also, if you're not religious, Jesus could simply be just a baby in a cradle (with hay), perhaps symbolizing caring for others, hope, and the future. The giving manger has so much potential! Decorating with it could also be fun~the website shows it beautifully displayed on top of a natural slice of wood.
