Antique hard bound book by Henry Van Dyke. Published in 1902, reprinted November, 1906 by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York. Author was a Presbyterian minister and Professor at Princeton. He was noted for his poetry (lyrics to hymn Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee". In good antique condition - some fraying and yellowing (see pictures). Binding is strong. Illustrations in very good condition. Other than original owner's inscription on front page, no writing. Measures ~ 7.5" x 5".
