This intense novel was cutting edge in its time and mirrors the breakdown of Sylvia Plath, a compelling and tragic author who died too soon. It took a little time to get into it, but when I did, I couldn't put it down. I purchased it new, read it once. No marks, page folds, or tears. This is a soft cover, so there is some light wear around the cover because I carried it with me.
