On the bottom of the vase, it says "The Art of Chokin Metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the SAMURAI warriors. Made in Japan." There is a small spot on the bottom, possible sticker residue. There is some scuffing on the bottom rim. Miniscule wear on the top gold rim. All imperfections are because this is a vintage item and the imperfections are very small. The vase is 6 1/4-inches tall and is 2 7/8-inches wide. The opening from lip to lip is 2 1/2-inches. L-0236
