Edward Hopper Painter/Artist Art Institute of Chicago Copco Mug 1993 - Great Condition
This colorful mug/cup has a scene on both sides titled "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper. He was quoted as saying, “unconsciously, probably, I was painting the loneliness of a large city.” The scene depicts an all-night diner with three customers sitting at the counter opposite a server. This mug is unique & intriguing to view & would add to a 'cup collection'.
The name "Edward Hopper" is written on the handle of the mug for an interesting appeal. Also, that same name appears on the mug's front side twice.
The bottom lists a variety of information. The exterior of the mug has a white background & the scene appears to be transfer ware.
The white interior is a healthier choice for drinking a beverage from. There are some signs of use on the inside bottom.
