I seriously don't get what I'm doing wrong.. I have purchased way more than I have sold. Lol. Need to clean this closet. I think my closet is nice. Any advice for me?

@bossbee28 ... You do have very nice pieces. I would not say you are doing anything wrong. One thing that boosted my sales instantly was my dress form. Once I retook photos of my clothing on the form, buyers were able to get a better view of my items. My best dresses & skirts flew out of my closet in about one week!! An inexpensive or used one may be your best investment. I recommend using good lighting when taking your photo and keeping the listing item as the focus of the cover photo. If you are able to include at least one accessory to give the buyer style ideas(plus giving a view of accessories you may be selling), that helps. For shoes, I recommend cover photos of both shoes. Include in your listing outside, inside & bottom photos. If you have one shot of the shoes on, that is super. Generally, try to take photos close up or cropped. If there is special print or texture detail on your item, try to take a photo up close. Include all the details you would like to know as a buyer in your description. I personally am turned off by photos of pets in clothing listing photos and listing photos with the clothing posed on the bare floor.😕 It makes me question how well this person cared for that item before listing it for sale. I do not want my clothing on the floor unless it is laundry or trash time. To each his own with the latter.😌 Have fun with your photos & descriptions. Viewing other Posher closets has given me listing ideas. SHARE, FOLLOW & give thanks to those who follow. Promptly reply to buyer inquiries in a thorough friendly manner. That is about the only suggestions I have. Geez ... I feel like I just wrote a manual.🙈 I hope it helps.☺️🌺

That involves sharing your items in the parties that are applicable to your listings. By the way, I was not supposed to buy a darn thing on Poshmark. It was supposed to be all selling. However, if my fiancee knows how much I have bought vs. sold, I would be permanently grounded from Poshmark.😝🙈

@bossbee28 ... Oh ... try putting up a listings letting buyers know if you welcome BUNDLES &/or OFFERS!!! Those are huge here. I also recommend a meet the seller/buyer listing. Those help as well.👍

@cathyzimm62 ... No, don't be discouraged! The forms are definitely helpful. There are used ones available in great condition at low prices. Sometimes you simply need to update photos and freshen up the look of your listings. A fresh new photo in good lighting can go a long way.😌👍🏾

I think seeing the items will be extra incentive for me to kick my weight loss challenge efforts into higher gear. I plan to sign up for the next 8-week challenge as well.
