My son was asked to donate gallon size baggies kits for the homeless for a school project only needing to turn in 4. He asked if we could donate more since we’ve been continuously blessed on Poshmark with all your purchases; my oldest turned in 30 kits. In FFA he was selected along with only a handful of students to go to the Fresno Zoo. He is improving EVERY practice for wrestling. It was an honor for me to teach him what I knew from when I trained for 14 years in Muay Thai and taught it as well, jujitsu, CrossFit. He went from getting 3 pins a practice to averaging 8… We don’t just teach them gratitude, manners, chivalry isn’t dead, but it’s rewarding to give without expecting to receive. They remembered me telling them that I used to go on the meal trucks and deliver food on Thanksgiving as well as donating time at the Mission Gospel serving the homeless meals from the kitchen line. They’ve asked if they can do that this coming year. They amaze me every time their school has a can drive and they want to empty our pantry. After Christmas we donate their gently used toys.
