Tecnica Forge GTX Hiking Boots - Women's

The Forge is a mid-cut leather Gore-Tex weather-proof trekking shoe designed to offer the highest level of comfort and protection in variable terrain during single or multi-day trips, including in technical terrain. They are built and shaped around a women-specific anatomical last with reduced volume in the heels, forefeet and insteps, along with gender-specific malleolar pad positioning. Overlapping wrapped tongue design and self-locking laces provide a great out-of-the-box fit. Vibram Forge outsoles with MegaGrip and reverse chevron lugs provide traction on rocky and wet terrain. These are super sturdy technical hiking boots. The insoles and certain parts of the boot itself can be heat-molded so the shoe is customized to your arch, foot, and ankle shape--this can be done at certain hiking stores. The laces lock down at the midfoot really well so your foot stays in place on downhills. I used these boots only a handful of times (I switched to trail runners) and have cleaned them and conditioned the leather to be ready for their next owner!
