Draper is the author of Out of My Mind which is great fiction for middle grades, however, please note that this book deals with some adult situations like drinking and driving and suicide. The content is meant for high school age students and up. I personally read this book and found it difficult as I know many close friends & family members who struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts; this book may not be for them.
