Teal Turquoise Upcycled Painted Vase Bulbous Round Shape Possibly Metal 8.5"

This unique bulbous vase in teal/turquoise came from the same estate as the Target Thira vase (also listed), and looks to me like an upcycled project where someone painted it with a matte finish teal paint to better match the Thira vase coloring (they do look terrific together). I cannot tell for sure what this vase is made of beneath the paint. The bottom shows possible rust stains, so perhaps the vase is painted metal? Or it may have just been set on a rusty underplate at some point. It's in fair used condition; in addition to the possible rust stains on the base, there are some black marks on the paint (though there is one side that has no marks so if it's placed against a wall or in a corner spot, there is an angle free from blemish).
