Delightful Teacups and Saucers Cream and Gold Castleton China Laurel Made in U.S.A. This Set of 6 little footed teacups and saucers are simply beautiful. They are cream colored with gold decorations. The glaze looks thick and perfect. The rim of the cup is smooth; and the gold on the handle, the footed edge, and the band around the lower indentation of the cup are not marred in any way. Tiny raised beads are just inside the band of gold around the edge of the footed portion of the cup. There is a laurel wreath on the inside of the cup, just below the gold trim on the rim. The edge of the saucer is scalloped and has a band of gold on top of the beaded edge. Approximately ½ inch inside the rim, is a laurel of burnished gold that exactly matches the one inside the cup. Although this pair are used, 12 pieces look brand new. The saucer measures almost 5 inches across, and the cup is 3-1/8 inches across the top. Including the handle with the cup, that width is 4 inches. The foot of the cup is 1-5/8 inches across, and the height of the cup is 1-5/8 inch. No Original Box.
