The plastic outer packaging is creased a little, the teapot has no cracks or chips. I cross-list so this item may be listed somewhere else as well. Condition is subjective. I recommend that you zoom in on all photos to make your own assessment. I research on the internet, dealers, books, etc. I do my best to describe each item, but I am not an expert.
