I’m afraid it’s going to be too small, would you say it’s a regular xl Or oversized? Or runs small?

@susan2274 completely understand. I’m a true medium, this was huge on me. I say it runs a bit oversized though and does cinch at the bottom. Some stretch, not too much. I recently got a medium and that fits me oversized. So, if you’re a true XL I do not seeing this not fitting. ☻
