Taylor Smith Taylor | Shades of Grandeur Vintage saucer plates- set of 6 This is the Ironstone "Shades of Grandeur" line of china from Taylor Smith Taylor. It was made for home use and is "oven proof". Colors were earthy and patterns reflected a natural earthenware style. Very heavy earthenware. This is the Indian Oasis Green Pattern that has a green base color with darker green underglaze decoration. The insides and undersides of pieces are green glaze, the same as the outside base color. Covers have classic TST brass finials for a super 1970s look. The design reminds of Egyptian hieroglyphs that are intermingled with geometrics. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. Very minimal signs of use.
