A guide book for tattoo artists in Burma. Thirty page folio book (parabaik) handwritten in Burmese. The book covers are constructed of lacquer over wood. 16 cm x 10cm x 1.5 cm Vintage 1950s - 1970s. The pictures are a guide to drawings of various tattoo designs - spirit animals and figures to ward off bad luck. Not many of these around and the designs are original. Book on the Thai border in the 80s. Fine condition with wear commensurate with the age. No tears or major damage.
