Tat Saunders Jacket Wool Houndstooth Red Black Ritz Carlton Vintage

Preowned, vintage Tat Saunders jacket, likely made in the late 1950s. Made from what we believe is wool (no content label) in a chic mini houndstooth pattern, it features a Mandarin collar and fastens with a snap, buttons and a hook-eye closure. A retro 50s fabulous jacket that's incredibly well made and chic! Pair it with a fitted black skirt or pants - the red and black mini houndstooth is a true stand out! About the designer, from the Vintage Fashion Guild: "Tat Saunders started her first store in Boston’s Ritz Carlton Hotel. The four Saunders boutiques specialized in custom couture and high end designer fashions for their exclusive clientele." Fully-lined in black. No content label, feels like wool. Tagged TAT SAUNDERS THE RITZ CARLTON HOTEL BOSTON. No size tag, fits like a modern M, based on these measurements: shoulders - 17in, bust - 42in, waist - 40in, hips - 42in, shoulder to hem - 24in, sleeves - 25in. Preowned/vintage with some signs of age, use and prior wear: an internal elastic band at the waist is stretched out (see image 5). This doesn't impact wearability but does impact the overall silhouette.
