Legendary Warner Bros animator/director and creator, Friz Freleng (1905-1995) is primarily known for his work at Warner Bros on the Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies cartoon series & created more than 300 cartoons. This rare, limited edition artwork was created by animation director/artist, Friz Freleng from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art. This limited edition artwork is accompanied by the original bill of sale and a letter from The Circle Gallery updating the value of this piece in 1989. Unfortunately I relocated and didn’t leave them a forwarding address so I didn’t receive any other information on its value. I did however continue with the Chuck Jones Gallery for updates on its value. The cel is in its original frame and due to its age, the plastic coating over the wooden frame is lifting off. Framed it measures 17 inches wide and 19 1/2 inches high This cel is an amazing addition to any collection. The animation cell is pristine
