This 100% cashmere scarf has been safely stored and contains no rips, stains, or tears. I think I wore it one time, it is in excellent condition. It is downy soft, and thin for cashmere, you will not over heat with it on. It has a beautiful raw-hem edge and cashmere fringe. It measures approx 66" long, 12" wide, and has about 2 1/2 " long fringe. I do not live in a climate where this scarf is needed.
