Tall fringed light tan/beige boots

I just bought and received these boots and am so sad that they are a little to narrow in the foot and tight on my calf. I love fringed boots and took an expensive chance on these. They are a reposh and I could see in the pictures the footbed was narrow and bought them anyway. I have a wide calf of 15.5 but these hit just below my calf and are 14.5 circumference making them a little to tight even pushing them down to scrunch them. I received them exactly like my pictures except I pulled the rope that went around the tops through the silver grommets, out. The rope is thick and stiff and stuck out plus I thought taking it out would make them less tight. I'm sure the rope could be weaved back in or if I was able to keep them I would have bought something different to weave through. I never wore them out, only tried on and walked in house for a short bit.
