I have screenshots of the arguments and thought about posting them long ago when this 1st started happening because one of the users attacked my item and then said on their 'about' post "ive heard that people can be really rude on Poshmark" 😨🤯??? 😫 I am just so FRUSTRATED and worn out at this point! The app has so many downsides, I feel like I should delete my items..😭 💁🏻‍♀️ Just wanted to know other peoples perspective and if anyone else was experiencing this too? 🥺

42flowers_ @kfstucker 💕 Yeah I sell/post more on another app and very rarely I will get a rude comment that I just deleted as a 1st warning, but on here as both a buyer and seller, people have said rude things calling one of my items (now deleted) "OLD" and 'shouldn't be that price' and just today I asked a seller a question and they got and they went off... Sellers on here lately are selling an item, then a user asks them to cancel and sell to them for more Thank you for responding and srry for ranting 😭

kfstucker @42flowers_ You can rant to me any time❣️❣️. I have not set up my closet yet and I am afraid I will probably have some rude buyers too. BTW, my name is Kathy and you have my sympathy❣️ My grandmother always told me “It is their loss not yours!” I hope I made you feel better❣️

Its nice to meet and talk with you, my name is Chelsea 😊 Hopefully you won't! lol but I think it's just a thing on Posh because I see lots of other user talking about it 🤔 If you have any questions about selling or want to talk about anything, feel free to 😁 I sell on lots of sites and can probably troubleshoot most selling questions 🤗🛍💕

kontogonis I encounter them too. When it’s buyers it seems to be newer members who don’t sell. There are a few sellers who I find to be extremely pretentious and go out of their way to “inform” me of things that don’t matter.also encountered a few who are very aggressive with their “policies” and even a simple miscommunication or something as trivial as me adding an item to a bundle sets them off and I get threats to be blocked.🤷‍♀️I stay cuz more often than not ppl are kind+I’m already established here.

42flowers_ @kontogonis Thanks for adding to the convo! 😊 I guess bcus I've never been active in things like posh games + community stuff, no one has ever reprimanded me for anything. That must be rough! Over the past few months I tried to devote my time to sharing following and getting involved because I thought it would help boost sales but it only slightly has. In my experience it usually is established Poshers who are condescending and misread to jump into arguments. They honestly sound crazy! 😨

42flowers_ 😒 Unfortunately I seem to sell 90% more on my fave selling app, so I'm not sure if its worth selling on here..? The cons of this app for me are 1) no automatic payment 2) huge selling fee 3) shipping labels come out weird 4) very rude poshers who act like victims. It only seems worth it because shipping for heavier items is $7 and I can sell certain 'specialty' items quick sometimes...

kontogonis @42flowers_ oh girl I do not play any of those games. I just share and talk to a couple friends. I mean those ppl I mentioned would get upset for me adding to a bundle and not buying. Weird stuff. Or asking a question about an item. I block people often. And I think from the sounds of it if you have a better platform use it.

42flowers_ @kontogonis That is weird 😨 I can't even imagine someone taking the time to do something like that. Just when I thought I was done with this app, I was contacted by 2 separate users privately who were incredibly nice! You and Kathy (the other user who commented above) have been so lovely to talk to as well 💕 I may just stay on as a buyer and only rarely post 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still haven't fully made up my mind... Hope you're doing well today btw 😁

kontogonis @42flowers_ a random buyer just contacted me to praise me for my about me page and for being kind to you (she must have read this) and then did shares for me. I know it’s frustrating and like I said if you have another platform you prefer go for it! But there is still kindness here. Even random acts of it lol. I totally get what you’re saying tho. Sometimes I get frustrated. I use the block feature openly and freely. 🙂✌️🤣

technokel84 yes!! It can be brutal on here! I joined another platform a couple of months ago and have sold sooo much more in there and there has been no hostility. It seems like it takes so much effort on here these days and you go out of your way to be nice, only to get slapped in the face with horrible ratings,etc. I've had many great experiences and met some wonderful ppl here but after having so much success elsewhere, I could care less trying to sell here. You are definitely not alone :)

42flowers_ @technokel84 Thank you so much contributing! (srry to respond so late/I went on a brief hiatus from here to gather myself). Same! I've also had much more success elsewhere! And it's true that you do have to put a lot of effort here (keeping up with follows, shares, etc.) When I didn't, I got zero traffic on this page.

42flowers_ @technokel84 Now that I've taken a break from selling on here, it is still very apparent that the rudeness is much more likely to happen on this particular app out of the 5 others. I may get a passive/rude comment on other apps but its not the same at all. After over a week I reopened my shop, but just not sure what the next step is. I think it would be best to keep the effort and listing to a minimum on here.

technokel84 @42flowers_ it is so true what you said! It was such a breath of fresh air when switching to a different platform! It's really baffling how some can be rude and even downright nasty! It is unfortunate you have to experience it, but it's good to know you aren't alone! :)

technokel84 @selenammiller the other one I have had much luck selling on starts with Merc.i dare not type the whole word in case this convo gets deleted! lol..but you will maintain a much higher profit, less effort, more sales. More reasonable to buy on too :)
