Originally released in 2008, Hayashi has produced many more lines but none as beautiful as the J-Lay Mids here. Using an assortment of genuine brown leather for the body of the shoe, brown leather strips for the laces, wooden beads, horse hair on the tongue and back heel, and rubber for the soles, the shoes take on a Native American aesthetic with an attention to detail that is unbelievable. These shoes were produced in 2008 in limited quantity have NEVER been worn, kept in the special tote bag inside the original box. The shoes also come with alternate wax pressed laces for those who favor a simpler look for the shoe.
