These are wonderful winter shoes. I've worn identical ones for years - with business suits and jeans. They look like they have a thick sole and a heel, but it's just outside appearance. These are truly barefoot with a great ground feel, but the lining makes them warm enough for most winter days in Boston. Laces and zippers allow for great adjustability. I believe these boots have never been worn, but I don't remember it for sure. They've been stored in my attic for a few years.
