Hi. yes. it is stretchy and velvety and gorgeous. It is a beautiful dress that I am too short for. I have a closet full of dresses (I literally built a closet just for the dresses I obsessively buy)-- but some of tgem just don't fit and for whatever reason I still have a difficult time letting them go.
