wendday1960 @texassadie yes, I’m a true 8 and these fit perfectly. I think if you have wide feet, the 8.5 is good. If you have narrow feet, you might want to wear a thin sock.

wendday1960 @texassadie yes, I wear a thin sock regardless, but depending on the brand, I make adjustments for my wide feet. I think sometimes brands are hard to figure out. When I bought these, I knew I could wear a sock if need be.

wendday1960 @texassadie If I’m bare foot, they are a little loose, but if I wear a sock or a plastic foot insole, they’re fine. It depends on you’re preference. Are all 8.5 shoes you’ve worn too big? Ultimately, it’s your decision. If you’re afraid they’ll be too big, and don’t want to wear a sock or insole, then I’d suggest you pass. I get the fear totally. Just let me know if you have any other questions.

texassadie @wendday1960 thank you. No, i am a true us 8.5. My feet are not narrow nor wide, but they are wider in the toe box area so if they run slim or short or tight, they would not fit. Its easier for me to wear a 9 versus an 8 in 90%

wendday1960 @texassadie my feet are wide with bunions, but these slide in the back and there’s about a 1/4” in the toe length if I’m bare foot.
