TONY BOWLS EVENINGS size 8 white/brown/green OTS floor-length formal gown

THIS SENSATIONAL FORMAL/SPECIAL-EVENT/OCCASION GOWN BY TONY BOWLS EVENINGS, SIZE 8, is pre-owned, an estate-sale purchase, and has one minor flaw, an apparent repair to the left shoulder strap. Picture #7 show it on the inside, and you can see that the fabric doesn't match the other strap. Picture #8 shows it from the outside. You can see it if you know it's there and look for it, but it's not obvious. Apart from this, the gown is in excellent condition, free of defects or damage, with little sign of wear. It fits closely in the bodice and flares widely from the waist down. The fabric has a satin-like sheen, and It shimmers and sparkles with fine embedded glitter. It has a pattern of abstract mottling in dark coppery brown and very pale green against a silvery-white background (picture #9). The neckline area has an inset of pale green (picture #10), with simulated gemstones on the shoulder straps, at the neckline, and down the front center to about mid-thigh. A gather behind the gemstones in front creates elegant draping (picture #12). Similar draping results from a gather at the center seam in back (picture #13). It's lined in lustrous off-white (light cream) fabric and closes with a clasp and zipper in back. Prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest pit to pit 16.5"; waist 13.5"; hemline 65"; length in front, neckline to hem 52".
