abbie_pierce @cke143 I get what you're asking. Hopefully you can some what understand my description. They have structure to them but when I put pressure on them they bend fairly easy. The sole is definitely a strong construction (I wouldn't forsee the sole /foam areas chipping off) however when I squeeze the sole with my pointer and thumb, my thumb makes a very slight minor indention when squeezed (until i let go- naturally it immediately returns and doesnt leave any mark).
