Kyoto: Uchida Woodblock Printing Co., LTD, ca 1950. First Edition. Portfolio containing 12 woodblock prints measuring approximately 11.5 inches by 10 inches which are tipped along the right edge to light card stock. Each print is matted (as issued) with thin paper. The prints are titled in Japanese & include the artists' seal in the block. The folding portfolio (decorated paper over flexible boards with a printed label) includes a list of the prints & publishing information in English.
Condition: The portfolio is lightly rubbed & worn the folds & has the remnants of a label on the lower cover. TheM matting is age-tanned & a bit wrinkled, the prints are Fine. Please see photos. Only one of the prints insert has a bit tear, not the picture- All prints are in great condition.
