"Comas" clips-on earrings designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany Co.
This is a beautiful and extremely rare pair of clips-on earrings, created in New York city by Angela Cummings, for Tiffany Co., back in 1977. These clips-on earrings are strong collector’s items and have been carefully crafted in the shape of two comas in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with polished finish. They are embellished with two carvings of natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli and fitted at the reverse with comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening closure. The addition of gold posts for pierced ears can be easily done.

She takes her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city.
