Rattan bangle bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany Co.
This is an extremely rare bangle bracelet, designed at the Tiffany Co. Studios by the iconic Elsa Peretti, back in the 1976. The bracelet has been crafted with parts of natural rattan bamboo and pieces made up in .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. This bracelet is one of the very early works designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany and is a very important collector’s piece. We have only seen this model once in twenty years, one of them in the silver plain version and the other with parts in yellow gold. A similar example of this model is exhibited in the permanent jewelry collection of the MoMA Museum in New York.

Coral: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (10 x 6 x 4.5 mm) of natural red coral.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the sterling silver and signed in full as follows, "TIFFANY CO. PERETTI .925".
