I wanted to explore natural environments and elements in abstraction…concentrating on earth tones…but by using blocked shapes and patterns…painting on new surfaces, like natural wood and linen…using color blocking, loose graphite and charcoal motions, while also adding the subtle use of geometric & mathematical structures of hypotrochoids and epitrochoids, the foundations of nature in all its forms.
