Titles incised into the stoneware are BEI SPIEL UND SCHERZ and BLEIBT FROH DAS HERZ, Which mean "Beer and Jest Keep the Heart Happy"! With Pewter Lid and markings on the bottom for Authenticity. This Beautiful Stein is only 4 and a half inches to Lid and 6 inches to top with intricate detail and Marked 1/8 Ltr at handle.
