VLC Media Player was used to load the disc and scroll through the main movie -- with a screenshot taken of the Main Menu. Testing with a computer and taking screenshots is far easier than testing with a conventional DVD player hooked to a TV and taking photographs. Because photographing the highly reflective surface of the DVD does not always represent the surface accurately, a visual inspection was done, tilting against the light, etc. which gave the impression of: Good to Very Good With very few perceptible scratches, light smudging & imperfections throughout the five discs.
