imabee Nice! Do these have the toe grip that the "new" ones are missing?

ribbailey @imabee I’m. It sure what that is. Can u tell me more? Sounds kool. New vs old classic. 👍🏻

imabee Toe grips are curved raised area on the footbed below the toe area that they can "grip" when you walk that helps keep them on and exercises your legs. The original wooden sandals had them. The newer ones don't and have a flat footbed.

ribbailey @imabee oh!!! I know what you’re talking about! I had some as a little girl too! (So long ago I won’t even say 😂😳) I didn’t realize the new ones didn’t have it. That’s not good. Im pretty positive these have it but I’m not home so I’ll verify today. Thx!

imabee HaHa-I had some too! That's why I'm looking for them now. Yeah lots of complaints about the new ones not having them. Thanks for replying!

ribbailey @imabee OK so I’m home now and I’m looking at them and you’ll have to remind me what is the toe grip like ? kind of like a bump or a bar that went all the way across the toe area? because if so ,it doesn’t have that . there’s a little indention but it’s not so much of a toe grip so I want to say no.

imabee Thanks for checking! I think you'd probably notice if it was there. Hard to explain but it's a smooth raised area that your toes naturally grip as you walk. You can see and feel it. I'm seeing lots of them that don't have it and the new ones don't either. The toe grip was the reason many people bought them because you got a leg workout!

ribbailey @imabee I thought so. It’s not a grip, sadly no. 😞
