“THE GEORGE & DRAGON” Vintage Pewter Tankard with Glass Bottom

This pewter tankard featuring St. George & the Dragon was crafted in Sheffield, England by Giners English Pewter. It was on display at The Dragon Dreams Museum in Chattanooga, TN, which closed permanently in 2016. I have just recently purchased the contents. The tankard is made from high-quality pewter with a glass base and has a solid, sturdy feel. The tankard is perfect for use as a decorative piece or as a functional drinking vessel. The tankard is in good condition, with no major damage. It has surface scratches and a shallow dent (See last photo).
