buyitwhenfound @maryjohnston175 Taxco has been around since the 1900s. Originally the hallmark STERLING of the metal purity identified the brand. In the 1930’s, it was the Eagle. By the 1980’s, it was the Initials of the artist and the number of the city it was mined in. Our jewelry is all cleaned and polished, accompanied by a brand new, reusable polishing cloth and box (make sure to request).

maryjohnston175 @buyitwhenfound yes I have Taxco pieces from my mother . She lived there in the 1950’s and gave me pieces, which some I was too young to appreciate and lost so much of. Thanks for that refresher on the history of Taxco silver. It’s fascinating and such a great design ethic.

buyitwhenfound @maryjohnston175 we received many pieces from our grandparents when they passed away. They owned a store. So we have tons of bags and jewelry from them. Our Grandfather repaired jewelry and cleaned it for customers as well as bags. He also created stain glass. If we can help you with anything, please let us know.
