TALBOT RUNHOF Bobbette1 Black Lily Embroidered Gown Condition: Used twice. Not sure what size. I had size tag removed. Material: 47% Polyester 22% Acetate 12% Silk 11% Metal 8% Polyamide. Has textured look. Please see photos. No matter what you do, this look should be combined, ideally, with a glass of sparkling champagne. Third photo is not exact dress but similar for reference. Measurements: Pit to pit- aprx 15.5 inches. Waist: aprx 12.5 inches. Hips- aprx 17.5 inches. Shoulder to Hem: aprx 58 inches. (back side) Shoulder to Hem: aprx 50 inches. frugalshop This seems very small (smaller than a typical size 0). I know you removed the size tag, but what dress size would this be equivalent to in other brands? Like size 00 in Elie Tahari? Or size 0 in Teri Jon, for example? Or feel free to mention other brands and equivalent sizes for comparison. Trying to figure out if this is too small for me. Thanks

frugalshop @kcloset21_ Since you removed the size tag, I assume you wore this dress? So maybe I can infer from your measurements - are you 30-31” bust, 24-25” waist and 34” hips? Lastly, does this fabric have any stretch?

frugalshop As you know, measuring a garment flat is an approximation, and it helps, but isn’t as good as knowing the real on-body measurements that a garment fits. Sometimes I find the lay-flat measurements turn out to be too tight when I actually try to put on the garment, other times just fine. Trying to figure out if this is too small for me or not, thanks much!
