Small TALAVERA MEXICO WALL POCKET POTTERY This beautiful wall pocket. It is 6" tall x 5" wide at the flat back and 3" deep -- perfect for succulents or just as a stunning decorator piece. It has a drain hole on the bottom and two (2) holes in the back for hanging. The back is signed. Talavera is named for the type of Spanish pottery from which it originates. It is a tin-glazed earthenware made from the clay of the region in and around the state of Puebla. It features a white base. This highly decorative, twice-fired clay pottery is dipped in lead oxide for its second firing. G1
