Syroco Pair - Old Peasant Lady and Man

Syroco (Syracuse Ornamental Company) was a well know American company founded by an Austrian immigrant. The material that they used was compressed wood fiber that was carved into frames, wall fixtures, and figures like these shown above. This is a elderly peasant woman and man from Central Europe. It is a collectible form of folk art.
