Wonderful cottage ware covered butter dish fashioned after a traditional stone English cottage, this listing is for a covered dish perfect for butter or cheese- great at high tea or English breakfast, designed in majolica style, hand painted ceramic featuring green doors, blue windows, pink flowers, with thatched roof on a tan and cream colored cottage with some pale yellow undertones. Plate mimics cottage style English countryside pathway’s. Raised ceramic details throughout, perfect cottage decor. Hand made and hand painted in Staffordshire England. Each item is marked and/or numbered. The set is in perfect condition except some crazing which is expected with age and gives extra vintage charm.
