Sweet grass flowers from Charleston

This is a custom handmade flower out of sweet grass called a Charleston palmetto rose. This dried flower Goes back hundreds of years. When men Went to war, each of the women with line up in the street and pin a rose on them. This symbolizes, strength, love, and good luck. During the war cannonballs bounced off the palmetto trees in South Carolina. This is why it is a sign of strength and good luck and is our state flag.
