Sweden Doll Vintage ARCO Gas Station Dolls of the World Collectibles red hair. This is the Sweden doll from the Dolls of the World storybook doll collection sold at Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) gas stations in the 1960s and 1970s. She wears a purple and white and has a hat on her head. She has black hair and blue eyes that open and close. She measures about 8 inches tall and can stand on her own when propped up just right, but could use a stand. She is not poseable. These dolls were 99 cents with a tank of gas, and are very similar (some nearly identical) to dolls you could buy by sending in points from Blue Bonnet margarine and Reddi-Wip whip cream.
