Swarovski Green Crystal and 925 Silver Pendant

The main factor contributing to the popularity and cost of Swarovski is its precision cutting technique, developed in 1892 by Daniel Swarovski. This patented cutting machine allowed for a level of cutting that was unprecedented at the time, creating crystals that closely resemble diamonds. This lovely pendant is an example of that famed precision cutting. Clearly, my photos don't do it the justice that it deserves. The light green is an excellent choice of color as one is able to see through it and instantly recognize the precision cuts. The 925 silver is bold and sturdy. There is a mark of "SX" that holds a specific meaning. Jewelry. namely sterling silver and gold, with and without precious and semiprecious stones are stamped with "SX," indicating the highest regulated standard of metal.I received this stunning piece approximately 15 years ago and recall wearing it once or twice. Thus, it is in pristine condition.
